According to analysts, market participants are concerned about the prolonged nature and risks of accelerating inflation. Expectations following the June FOMC meeting have shifted: instead of a decrease in the range of the Federal Reserve’s key rate, some investors are now expecting an increase.
The volume of assets managed by cryptocurrency funds decreased to $129 billion — levels seen at the beginning of February, which are comparable to April 2025, when US President Donald Trump introduced tariffs on imports.
The main outflow came from the US — $445 million. Switzerland lost $4 million. In Germany and Canada, on the other hand, the weakness in prices was seen as an opportunity: local funds attracted $21.2 million and $15.9 million, respectively.

The main blow fell on Ethereum, which is related to. The outflow was $222 million, which put the dynamics since the beginning of the year in the negative — $273 million.
Funds based on Bitcoin lost $194 million, but since January, they remain in the positive — $964 million. Structures that allow for shorting cryptocurrency attracted $4 million.
